A)   Kendriya Vidyalaya Greater Noida came into being in July 2003 and is running in a temporary building. All Kendriya Vidyalayas follow the same syllabi and bilingual pattern of instructions, have the same text books and same uniform. They are pace setting schools following the guidelines of C.B.S.E. and NCERT. Preferences are given to children whose parents are frequently transferred from one regional area to another.

It is our attempt at Kendriya Vidyalaya Greater Noida to impart an education which uses Innovative methods. This will encourage all our children towards lateral thinking, creativity and developing an analytical bent of mind. This, coupled with the capacity to view issues holistically, will fully equip them to face the complexity of modern living and becoming instruments of transforming society for the better. Indeed, all connected with Kendriya Vidyalaya Greater Noida - teaching staff, administrative staff and students share a common goal : To Excel, To Make a Difference.

OUR VISION
The school has before it a very compelling vision- that of contributing in a modest way to the development of the country. This is possible only through providing its students with high quality education aimed at not only academic excellence but also at their all round development. We aim at moulding them eventually into ethical, decision-making citizens ideally equipped to meet the challenges of adulthood. The school is geared to building up a cadre of confident, sincere, committed individuals trained to utilize their inherent talents in the most productive way possible.
